Datapoint Afrikaans/Position of standard negation

NEG2 always follows the main verb and is dropped if immediately adjecent to NEG1 (cf. den Besten 1986, Biberauer 2008).
NEG1 precedes the main verb when it is in OV order and it follows the main verb if it is in SVO or VSO order.
Both NEG1 and NEG2 may be adjacent to the verb but they don't have to be (... dat hy nie kom nie [... that 3SG.M.NOM NEG come NEG] '... that he isn't coming'.
