This sentence was given in answer to a question about the location of the speaker's parents. The example illustrates the order tense-perfective-V. Note that while the perfective marker kaa PRECEDES a main verb (as here), the marker of a perfective participle =tu, FOLLOWS the (subordinate) verb.
