Datapoint Jamaican/Syllable onsets

With regard to s + obstruent + sonorant clusters, some lects of Jamaican do show strings of this type, but the assumption is that the s is syllabic and thus is not a member of the cluster. In any case, several lects (especially conservative ones) delete the sonorant, e.g. straight > s.chriet > s.chiet.
