Datapoint Pidgin Hawaiian/The prohibitive

The marginal pattern is a retention of the Hawaiian prohibitive mai. This grammatical item was largely eliminated in the pidgin. There was also a stronger 'not allowed to' prohibitive aole kuleana VERB, but this appears to lie beyond what is under consideration here.
