Datapoint Reunion Creole/Tightness of the link between the past marker and the verb

In my corpora, I found 81 examples of the past marker te i, not a single one with intervening adverb (or other items). So if something can intervene, the relative importance can only be marginal.

Values

Particle, nothing can intervene

Example 54-104:
Lontan té i fé èk sak trésé an vakoi.
