Datapoint Creolese/Domains of use: other newspaper items

The question of 'other' is problematic. Creolese is widely used in (i) the dialogue of short stories and other literary work published in the newspapers, (ii) satirical columns commenting on happenings, (iii) direct quotes from people interviewed by the press, (iv) cartoons, (v) comic strips. Use varies depending on whether it was one of the mass circulation papers. These use much more Creolese in their headlines and text.
