Papiamentu is fairly rich in prepositions, including a large stock of complex prepositions which consist of a semantically meaningful part followed by di ‘of’, the latter apparently functioning as a semantically underdetermined case marker (Kouwenberg & Murray 1994: 52f; Kouwenberg 2007: 329).
Also worth mentioning is the all-purpose locative preposition na, which is used in a wide range of contexts.
