Datapoint Cape Verdean Creole of Santiago/Tightness of the link between the progressive marker and the verb

Progressive (marker: sa) is distinct from imperfective (marker: ta). However, progressivity logically implying imperfectivity, the progressive marker is invariably followed by the marker of imperfectivity (ta). Nothing else (beside ta) can intervene between the progressive marker and the verb.
