Datapoint Diu Indo-Portuguese/Tightness of the link between the progressive marker and the verb

In Diu Indo-Portuguese, progressive aspect is construed simply with the preverbal imperfective marker (a verbal auxiliary), which I therefore interpret as the progressive marker for the purpose of this survey. No material is reported to intervene between the marker and the verb.
