Datapoint Pidgin Hawaiian/Existential verb and transitive possession verb

In the lexifier, aia was used as the existential verb; this item did not form a part of Pidgin Hawaiian which used loaa 'have, get' instead. It should also be noted that in many cases, no verb occurs at all in existential sentences.
