Datapoint Singapore Bazaar Malay/Generic noun phrases in subject function

As in the lexifier Malay, Bazaar Malay nouns are not marked for number and the same noun may denote singular or plural numbers which can be inferred from the contexts. If plurality is to be indicated, the given noun is reduplicated to express indefinite plurality. The demonstrative itu 'that/those' is used to show definiteness while the cardinal number satu 'one' is used before the head noun (without any classifier which is used in Standard Malay) as an indefinite article.
