Datapoint Mauritian Creole/Uses of the progressive marker

In general pe is simply progressive but there are a couple of partial exceptions. Habitual is not marked, /mo travay Kirpip/ 'I work in Curepipe' but /mo pe travay Kirpip/ 'I am working in Curepipe' while undoubtedly progessive, would carry the implication that the work was temporary or that the speaker might be moved to a different location in the near future.
