Datapoint Palenquero/Language abandonment
This question is difficult to answer, in part because on the one hand, generational language abandonment was widespread in post 1970s Palenque, but on the other hand, the recent dramatic reversal in language attitudes has now seemingly stopped and perhaps reversed the earlier situation (see the comments on the Features "Native speakers" and "Increasing use").
