Sometimes the verbs keré, podé, tené and sabé occur in the 3rd person forms of the Spanish conjugation kyéri, pwéde, tyéne, sábe, but this does not express a different semantic value according to tense and aspect. Tagalog predicates in similar cases require the Tagalog infinitive or the basic form and this is reflected in the use of the Spanish 3rd person forms of Chabacano (see Ogiwara 2002: 75).
