Datapoint Afrikaans/Domains of use: radio and TV news
The national broadcaster SABC(2) has one news broadcast in Afrikaans everyday in prime time, while the completely Afrikaans channel kyknet also has one news broadcast a day (at the same time). The national Afrikaans radio station RSG has 18 news editions a day. There seem to be quite some regional radio channels in Afrikaans of which some may also have their own news broadcasts.
