Datapoint Kriol/θ - voiceless dental fricative

This sound (as well as its voiced counterpart) is used as an allophone of the interdental stop by speakers in the Victoria River District (where some traditional languages have an interdental stop) in words corresponding to English words containing this phone. In other Kriol varieties corresponding words are realized with a palatal voiced or voicelss stop (this is also an option for speakers in the Victoria River District).
