Datapoint Pichi/Tightness of the link between the progressive marker and the verb

In the overwhelming majority of cases, the use of a preverbal temporal adverb immediately after the IPFV marker goes along with 'resumptive IPFV marking', i.e. the IPFV marker is repeated after the temporal adverb. The syntagmatic relation between the IPFV marker and the verb therefore appears to be tighter than that between other TAM markers and the verb, as in Example 79.
