Datapoint Cameroon Pidgin English/Proportion of native speakers

Approximately one fifth to one quarter of the Cameroonian population claims Cameroon Pidgin English to be their L1. However, numbers vary significantly, depending on whether one is in the anglophone part (up to 40% of self-reported L1 speakers) or in the francophone part (in some places less than 2% L1 speakers).
