Datapoint Ghanaian Pidgin English/Uses of the progressive marker
Current state can be expressed by the PROG/HAB marker dè, but this is rather infrequent. It seems to me that the "current state" in constructions involving a PROG/HAB marker results from the semantics of the verb rather than from the marker itself.
