Datapoint Ghanaian Pidgin English/Geographic variation: lexicon
Since 50-80 African languages are spoken in Ghana and the L1 lexicons must have an influence on the word stock of Ghanaian Pidgin English, geographic variation is to be expected. However, this has not yet been studied systematically.
