Datapoint Ghanaian Pidgin English/Increasing use
The Student variety in particular is spreading fast. Male Ghanaians acquire this variety in the secondary schools and universities. Up to the mid-1990s, females did not generally use Student Pidgin, but the percentage of females using Pidgin is growing now.
