Anak saya sudah jalan.
My son already walks.
- According to the informant, the use of sudah suggests that there was a change:
Dulu anak saya tak tahu jalan tapi sekarang boleh jalan baik-baik
‘Before, my son did not know how to walk and he did not walk, (he just starts walking) but now he can walk very well.’
This shows the transition of her son from the state of not being able to walk to the state of being able to walk.
