Datapoint Eskimo Pidgin/Lexifier language

The data in the sources suggest that Eskimo languages were the main lexifier languages for all Eskimo Pidgins. This is also case for the Herschel Island Trade Jargon. However, from remarks by Stefánsson it appears that English must have been an important lexifier language as well: "The vocabulary is briefer by a good number of words through the omission of most common and proper nouns that are only slightly-corrupted English and which would be readily understood by a newcomer in the Arctic." (Stefánsson 1909: 222). So, even though English may even have been of equal importance with Eskimo, no data were provided, probably because Stefánsson was mainly interested in the Eskimo component.
