Datapoint Seychelles Creole/Ditransitive constructions with ‘give’

The verb donnen 'to give' always occurs in a double-object construction, whereas other ditransitive verbs, e.g. dir 'to say', may also show the indirect-object construction, cf. Michaelis & Haspelmath (2003), Michaelis (2008).
