Some adjectives agree with the noun, e.g. golda 'fat', graciosa 'charming', guapa 'beautiful', placa 'thin', vieja 'old', the nationalities e.g. española 'Spanish', and some adjectives in fixed religious expressions, e.g. virgen gloriosa 'glorious Virgin', semana santa 'Holy Week'.
