Datapoint Batavia Creole/ə - mid central unrounded vowel

The existence of ə is hypothetical. In my opinion, it occurs in words which end in -er and which I interpret to have been pronounced -ər. The (orthographic) ending -er has allomorphs with -i or -u, as in albër vs. albi (< Portuguese árvore) or otër vs. otru (< Portuguese outro).
