Datapoint Principense/Uses of the progressive marker

The progressive marker sa may be used with the stative verb mêsê 'want' in order to insist on the present relevance of the wish, as in N sa mêsê sukê. 'I want sugar'; in the same situation, M mêsê sukê would also be correct.
Some speakers use sa for a habitual reference, instead of ka.
