Example 30-60

Ê so dentu fuska-fuska.

dentu
in
fuska~fuska.
dark~dark
It is only at sundown.
Comment:
In Creole the invariable adjective fusku means 'dark' and the substantive fuska-fuska 'sundown'. A metaphor has given rise to the verb fuska 'get drunk'. Semantically it looks as if the verb fuska had been derived from the substantive fuska-fuska.
