10 Position of indefinite article in the noun phrase

Summary

An element is considered an indefinite article if it occurs commonly with indefinite noun phrases and signals that the noun phrase is indefinite (not definite, not uniquely not identifiable by the hearer). Indefinite articles are often identical to the numeral 'one'.
